Default Connect Van , please help

Hi, Anyone here have a Ford Connect Van??

Need info on what size & offset for some Comp 5 spokes

And also info on lowering this. I have a Focus RS and aware that to lower mine I need to change the springs or go for coilovers but I have heard that the Connect suspension doesn't work that way?? So how do we go about lowering a Connect?

Any help much appreciated

Use blocks between the rear beam and springs and longer U bolts.

CheeRS for the replies but,, Frankly, I'm none the wiser

Dojj; I don't know the spec. of a Mk2 Focus or any Mondeo I have a proper Focus ha ha

Icurus; If they got leaf springs on the back too, u mean they have leaf springs on the front too??

FocusV8; 1st. Wow have u really got a Focus V8??? Cool As!! RWD??

Do we have an idea about how much it would cost to get a Connect lowered at a Tuners/Garage, Please??

5 stud 108 pcd rims
so whatever will bolt onto a mondeo mk3 or a focus mk2 will also fit the connect

first thing to do though would be to source some mk3 mondeo stoppers and bolt them onto the front and then get some brackets made up for the rears if the hubs won't fit

then you can have some fun

bvut you need 16inch wheels first

the rear beam sits above the leaf springs, so its not a case of using lowering blocks like you would with a mk2 Escort.

Think about it or draw it.

The rear beam always stays at the same height, the wheels define that.

Put blocks between the beam and spring and the spring which is attached to the body is forced down closer to the ground, taking the body with it.
