power wise are they nice to drive and good on fuel?

not quite the same but ive got a 530d and its very good and goes well

 

ive got a 330d tiptronic doing about 30 round town and 40 on a run and i don't drive like a nancy
had it remapped yesterday and now it really flies dare say its as quick as my old stage 1 3 door from 30 to 100 they sound nice too for an oil burner

don't see me getting rid soon

 

Great car, make sure you get the 204bhp one tho not the 180. Re-map 260+

Stu, the wife had one the other year, but Auto,

Was a really nice drive, felt really planted etc, but then again it is a bmw.
ours was totally stock,then had it remapped, and you could feel the differance, very pokey. brakes are very good on the car and have a good feel to them.

I thought the fuel consumption was good, you will get more olut of a manual anyway.
if you get one stu, make sure it has as many of the optional extras as possible! as imo makes it a little bit easyer to sell on.
