been looking for some mk3.5 mirrors for my FRST, i want them so i can have the mirror backing to be painted body colour, but all i seem to come across are the rough finished black plastic ones, does anyone know if the small turbo escos ones will fit the same mirror, as they look almost identical, and will give me another avenue to search for them.....

If so im stripping the car and these are already colour coded, and im a paint sprayer so for a bit more i can colour code them aswell, if u were interested in buying them obviously

 

thems the ones my friend, ideally, i want them with the mirror cover in readiant red and the base plates in the OE plastic, to break the red up a bit, pm me a price on them as they are and painted fella.

I assume they are manual and will include the interior plates as thay are different from the earlier type

Yea their manual mate and can have the interior plates no worries, the only problem if it is a problem for u is the whole thing is painted panther black so the baseplate would either have to stay like that and mirror bit red or the other option is paint the base either a gloss black or satin black?! unfortunatly wouldnt be able to take it back to plastic!!

 

you being a painter, what do you reckon it would look like with the base plate in satin black, just want it so its not shiny.....

 

would look ok i think, if u want mate if i get a chance tonite i'll take them off and satin black the bases so you can decide, i can do it matt black but personally prefer satin as its easier to clean than matt black!

Doesnt make any difference to me the cars getting scrapped and i doubt theres anyone else with one in panther black lol
