Default wanting to track spec my car (xr2i)

basicly i expect to do a few track days either this year or next year hopefully car will be done by ford fair
i need some rough ideas on
what a good braking set up is which will take all the s***
suspension ?
rollcage
if i get a alloy tank what else do i have to by with it ?
decent tyres
and any other bits you could recommend

Trying to do somthing similar with my car, look through the threads in the resto room theres loads of track cars being built and lots of info and stuff to inspire you

Take your car out as it is now first to see if it is for you.

You dont need to build a monster to have a fun safe time.

i no that but would prefer it to be built up nicely n used for its proper use and ive herd bad storeys about standard brakes warping etc etc and if i roll it i wana be in one piece when i climb out or get cut out

Get good brakes and suspension, then as Nuts says do a few track days and see if it actually needs anything else.

what suspension & brakes do you recommend ?

Can't fault you for thinking about safety many people want to build wild cars with mad engines and silly over the top products etc before they even know if they can drive safely on track.

Just get out get some experience and your car will tell you what products you need first.
