Scotland v Ireland
My wife has 2 tickets for tomorrow's rugby.
Neither of us have been to a rugby match and although we aren't really that interested in rugby we do think the atmosphere might make it worthwhile.
Kick-off (or whatever rugger types call it) is 5pm so we need to know if it's worth the hassle of going?

Don't bother mate,Ireland will win,so you won't even have that feel good factor as you head home cold to the bone.Sell the tickets and get some drinks/meal with the proceeds.Regards,Micky

I used to enjoy rugby when I was in Scotland but was always shitty Scottish premier League in the pub , but since moving to the Southern Hemisphere I LOVE watching rugby both League and Union. Proper man's game, the nutters get dislocated fingers popped back in and play on not to mention concussions, stitches etc etc.......... Can you fucking imagine a football player, they bastards roll around for ten minutes when another player gets within diving distance.
I think you will enjoy it!!

I'd go without a doubt, been to a few England matches now at Twickenham and love it, never seen an atmosphere like it; pisses over football any day!!!
As said Ireland are clear favourites but after Scotland's good win over Italy i think it'll be closer than you may think
Best get going, you haven't got long!!!

Well, we went and we were winning until into the second half when Ireland got the only Try of the game.
The "Murrayfield Roar" at the very beginning took my breath away - the sound just hit me and knocked me back on my heels.
The game itself wasn't very exciting - I didn't understand the rules (such as they are!) and still don't know why both sides insisted on kicking the ball forward when neither of them had anyone anywhere even remotely close.
So, we went, I'm glad we went, but I won't rush to another rugby match.
