Hi Welcome to PassionFORD.

Not bad for a first post!

Maybe you'd get a few more answers if you targeted a LOTUS orientated forum.

907 is the later all alloy slanted engine, used in various derivitives in Jensen Healey, Lotus Sunbeam, HSR Chevette, Esprit to name a few

Just go on Google their are a few places out there.

Spent a few years working on these babies is it a 2.0L or a 2.2. Have modified both the earlier 2.0 is by far the better engine.
If you can keep the Delortos in tune for more than 2 minutes its a great little engine. The later Turbos were designated 910 I believe, best of luck.

912 I thought... Although the turbos might have been called something different from the NA ones. I'm sure the Slant is the 912. If anyone is after 912 parts I've got a mate with one which has a bad bottom end, but is complete and has had the head rebuilt recently. We're sticking a 1uz-fe int he car instead.

IMHO your aswell converting the car to another engine as the cost of a new Zetec and conversion could be done for less than a full rebuild thats only going to last 10k miles.

JAmes.

912

Also known as the naturally asperated "Lotus 910", the stroke was increased to 76.2 mm giving a displacement of 2.2 L (2174 cc).

910
Turbocharged engines introduced in 1980 were known as the type 910, which in high compression configuration produced 215 hp (160 kW) and an astounding 220 ft·lbf (300 N·m) of torque. The engine was again upgraded in 1990 to the type 910s for use in the Esprit SE where it produced 280 horsepower (210 kW) .
