How many people have you called 'Zipper Head' since seeing the film

Shame the film doesnt deliver what the trailer predicts.

'Like Dirty Harry has never been away'

So you think its going to be a blood bath at the end and you are willing it to end that way but then it ends 'differently' although there are elements of Dirty Harry in the film.

Doesnt take anything away from the film and if I hadnt seen the trailers and that expectation hadnt been set I perhaps would have loved it a little more.

Great film 9.5 out of 10

It was better than I thought it would be because there was less shooting and bloodbath etc.

It suited clint eastwood at the age he is now perfectly, it was like a grown up version of dirty harry etc

" You can keep the Gran Torino, on the condition you don't chop-top the roof like one of those beaners, don't paint any idiotic flames on it like some white trash hillbilly, and don't put a gay spoiler on the rear end like you see on all of the other zipperheads' cars, it just looks like hell."

Over rated, slow burning, drivel. Predictable and sterotypical in a lot of places. Though, the end surprised me. i don't have to get a happy ever after. But it was just a pathetic end.

I'm not Anti-Eastwood he's a fine actor as are a lot of the people in the film but I think if this was a first film by a bunch of unknowns it wouldn't have got most of the praise it has.

Just back from the flicks.

Enjoyed it alot, good storyline, Clint Eastwood was excellent as ever, very funny/witty.

LOL'd shamelessly in the cinema at the kid going into the barber with the chat Good ending too.

Cant fault the film, very good.

Just watched it - what a film.... Utterly utterly impressed. Probably one of the best I've seen for a long time!

Clint Eastwood was superb. He is, to me, one of the select few actors that have just got better and better with age. Him, Jon Voight, Al Pachino, Robert De Niro, Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman - all fantastic actors that have grown old gracefully and true masters of their craft.

His acting was superb, the delivery, his direction. The script and screenplay was expertly done, the supporting cast was actually very good IMO (the girl that played Sue - Ahney Her - I thought was really good, and played her character very well)

Very sad, very moving, very well executed...
