Sounds like the holy grail for Ford owners

I think you meant KURUST which just stabilises it and stops it spreading as quickly. Waste of time on a rusty motor, you need to get it all out unless you plan to botch it up to shift it on

there crap mate. for a quick cheap fix just grind all the rust away then seal with paint, then filler and sand and aerosol. will stop it spreading any further as long as all rust is gone and is sealed before filler is used.

yup, 'kurust' type treatment does nothing to any rust more substantial than that caused by a very new stonechip. i put some on a tiny patch of rust in my bootfloor, all it did was turn it a delightful shade of purple until i overcoated it, and then spread like rust would normally

grind it right back until its all gone, or cut out and weld, and then etch primer coat it, only way to be sure its gone

Cut out and replace with fresh metal or grind/shot blast it away.
