Dont you hate those fooking whingers!
That woman bought a car with no history and the cam belt broke.
Her response "MY CHILDREN Put their lives at risk "
Typical Watchdog! Some bent plumber doesnt fix a tap..." My children could have drowned!"
Yeah theres some dodgy dealers - but theres some bloody stupid punters!!

The Renault bird made me laugh....... took it to a garage after buying it, they told her the cambelt hadn't been done, then when shes driving it and it breaks she complains........ be aware when buying a car with no history

The bit about write offs was a joke as well........ Cat C are deemed repairable as are Cat D's...... so not exactly dangerous if repaired properly and then the Nissan with the bald tyre....... not road worthy..... put a new fookoin tyre on and then it will be you planks

Some people are their own worst enimies when buying a car ....... " ooooooo I like the colour of that 1 lets buy it "then don't ask a single question about the car

actually matey with the cambelt was too blame as he took the car back to recify the faults but obv didnt do it

if buying from trade the car has to be of mertionable quality (spelling lol)

you have to give the dealer a chance to fix it

ive had a couple come back in my time but mostly ill rectify the prob or if its big ill have a deal with them for free labour etc

mind you once a car was sold the engine went pop kinda there fault as ignored a problem but took it in

agrred to pay 50% but told them the engine and labour was a grand but it actualy was 500 lol so he payed it all pmsl

but to be fair he was an arsehole trying it on as he did know he was to blame

he went away happy thinking he had got a cheap deal

ive sent parts to garages that are repairing a car that ive sold f the punter was nice enough to me on the phone

cars go wrong, simple some people are fair some are tossers, the tossers get fook all the nice people get a sympathetic ear

didn't watch the program, so can't comment... but have a question for peoples' opinions..
What is the big thing about FSH?? Everybody (including traders) get VERY excited about FSH.. A stamped up service book constitutes FSH evidently, but what is it worth? A big pinch of salt is required in my experience, you have to assume nothing, and get everything checked anyway.. there's a lot of assumptions being made otherwise. On and beyond 'having it' is maybe better than 'not having it', I just struggle to see the great benefit that seems to be attached to the FSH thing..??

Anyone?

i must say the countless amount of cars ive sold were the buyer never even checked the paperwork let alone the oil etc is unreal!!

i allways make a point of actually showing people like that around the car, showing the simple things you should check etc

it works superb they build a real confidence with ya

sometimes i truley wonder if its my shere wit and top quality salesman stuff that sells the car
