Why do it is there some reasoning behind it??

some of those clever japanese have their plates on spring assisted hinges, so when you speed, the wind force or whatever it is pushes them down and makes them unreadable from cameras.

Sod the state of the plates, its the state of the cars thats the problem!
Obviously its cool to have stupid looking wheels/tyres with ridiculous camber over there.

they all tend to run crazy long exhausts , stretched tyres . dodgy paintjobs , super deep fromt splitters ,

I did that on my old Twin Turbo Supra, fixed 2 standard door hinges to the inside of the front bumper opening and to the top of the number plate, it worked ok until the hinges got rusty.

"Bozuku" apparently only applies to the bikes. But the idea is the same. It's kind of like their version of Rat look.

Though I would be very worried of a small child ran into the exposed edge of the long bonnets. Surely someone should do something about that. If it saves one life it'll be worth the insurance premiums going up!
