I have a 2wd saph with stage 1 and my nearly new std clutch have slipped a few times..

It depends how you drive it. My standard clutch was shagged when it was running standard power. Soon as i took it to stage 3 it just slips on boost all the time.

Thinking of using a standard (new) cossie friction plate I have here on a uprated cover plate to use in a sub 700kg Fiesta with approx. 300bhp.

Worth it or not?

mine was fine on 350bhp.. deoends how many miles the clutch has done imo

Costina off here has got a stage 3 saff (2wd) around 350hp ish and thatis on a standard clutch with no slipping

as R5FORD says; it really depends on the condition of the clutch

Mine was good condition when i had the engine out 2000 miles ago but gradually got to the point it just slipped. Got 6 paddle for it now tho

Fine at 380 and hard launching, no slippage, beleive it to be std, but can't gaurantee, no paperwork to say otherwise.

i think half the matter is getting yourself a good quality clutch. i doubt si see his saxo as rob will never have it ready lol infact i can predict hi word 'getting there geez, just got to finish the paint' pmsl

IIRC there are 2 types of "standard" clutch, ford swapped suppliers a few years back.
