Default FIXED:Cossie dash not working, no temp, no RPM no battery light??

We were doing some stuff to the car tonight and have obviously upset something. The car runs fine, but there's no coolant(temp), no RPM, and No battery light when the ignition is on????
Car runs fine and RPM is displayed on the SECS monitor as normal.
EVERYTHING else seems to work ok, lights etc, even on the dash seems to be fine, just the dials are not showing anything????
It's a 4x4 saph BTW

If you've got access to another set of clocks try those.

Does the fuel gauge work? Mine doesn't - by the sounds of your gauges yours and mine were put together by the same man at the factory

The battery light could just be the bulb needing turning around a bit more Also try re-seating the multiplug on the back of the clocks.

Nah it was working only 5 minutes before, and now nothing on the dash works, Lol I'll admit there was a spark from the starter motor when i touched an aeroqip line against it under the car.....

Sounds like a blown fuse or a burnt earth... you generally can't kill an entire cluster just like that!

Could be the loom plugs on the bulkhead Rog

If you have been messing around there and moved them that could cause all sorts of issues. I know it played havoc with my dash in my saff once id disconnected them.

Thanks, looks like i'll have to have a poke around to see what's what.....
We did some work near connectors on the bulkhead, that was the first thing i tried when i realised there was a problem. I just remembered though, the wires for the windscreen washer jet had come loose, so i was messing around there too.

dash not working probably blown fuse
alternator warning light probably blown the rectifier pack
both problems probably a result of you shorting the starter

Thanks, there seems to be no warning light on for the alternator though.
You wouldn't happen to know which fuse it would be for the dash off the top of your head???

SORTED!
Text my mate who has the car justnow about fuse number 22 from a post I found on here (with the same problem) He says it's now fixed and it was a fuse, he didn't say if it was that one though.

Thanks for the replies
