Default Wheel and Tyre Choice

Hello All,

This has been playing on my mind for a bit of time now. Your help and knowledge is appreciated.

My ever day car is FWD 170BHP, 1050KG and i'm running Good Year Eagle F1's 215/45/R17 all round. I get plenty of grip and no understeer.

My question is, what wheel size and tyres to you guys use to what effect? This question is mainly aimed and you big BHP owners.

For a 600KG Car, 185BHP Rear Wheel drive with ideally 15's all round what would you suggest?

I love the look and the weight of the OZ wheels, but want to get a setup which will take the abuse of a turbo conversion next year (300bhp - 350bhp).

Thanks in advance.

Toyo R888's seem to be the tyres most people use for big bhp. think you can get them in 205/50/15

Will 205/50/15 be wide enough?
