anyone know this car????????????
im interested in buying this focus rs. It claims to be 427bhp and going by the spec it could be that power. Thing is, i phoned today to go and view it and they told me its unavailable at the moment due to it having a new clutch fitted, and then it needs setting up!!! This has put me off a bit already as it sounds like its a problem car.
i was wondering if anyone knows of it as there cant be many running that spec, and more importantly who the owner was, where the work was done etc etc.....
thanks in advance

If EA worked on this car, use it as a bargainng point and ask him to reduce the price by 50%.

When the car is "better" with its new clutch.....get the owner to take the car to a rolling road and offer to pay for a power run. If it makes the claimed power and is not dead afterwards offer to pay for the rolling road session.
If the car dies on the rollers which it will.......then you will have saved yourself some serious money.
The only way this car wont kill itself is if you turn the boost down to about 3psi if its got a EA sticker on it!
