Default Hobbies.

As some of you guys know. Me and the mrs split after 11 years not so long back. I have been through every emotion possible and its only the last few weeks I got off my arse and started getting back out in the world.

So its time to start something. I was 18 stone and down to 15, 12 in a few months and have been told by dr I need to carry this on and join the Gym. This is one hobby I was going to take up.

The other I wanted to be fun. So what fun hobbies have you lot got.

Genuine interest

If want cheap car fun, nothings cheaper and more fun than drifting.

60-100quid is a days drifting, practice days pretty much every week, and a 200quid sierra with another couple hundred spent on it is all you need to have a hell of a lot of fun.
And can use the car on (albeit more expensive and less fun) track days too.

Now I would love to drift. I really would. The issue is I have tried and failed miserably.

Where did you try tho mate, and in what?

The trouble I see on PF is a few people have a quick go, feel they poo, and go home.

Id put money that within 1 whole day at SantaPod with a few people who are fairly good sitting with you as a passenger etc, you will be able to link up the middle track even in a shitbox GLSI Sierra.

Mountain biking and cycling of any kind really, nothing nicer than on a clear day cruise about, with the i-pod on.

Just think back to when you where a child/teenager and what you always wanted to do or could not have......
Well now is that time!

Huge well done mate for the getting fit and weight loss, i imagine your feeling 110% better with yourself and rightly so.

Exactly mate, thats bugger all, dont worry about that.

All road stuff is good for until your good is crashing, or lame 1sec bits of power oversteer out of junctions.

To learn what you would in one day at the Pod for example would take you years on the road, honestly, been there, done that.

if you are on the fitness state of mind why not get yourself a dog and have fun with it, that way the dog gets exercise too and you feel even better cos not only are you training but your keeping the dog healthy too

they are loads of fun , my only problem now is i was gna enter the uk freestyle champ this year but with my new buisness leaving me snowed under and the fact i sold the 650 to buy a new superjet , not to mention spending every spare minute on the granada i havent got round to replacing it yet lol .

seriously tho , i got into it after a messy break up and it sorted me right out , you get to take all your agression out on it and you very rarely hurt yourself .

Airsofting is good fun as well, may seem a bit nerding getting dressed up in combats and running about fields, but for a days fun, you can't reall beat it!

Maria, I don't think I could put you through the torture, It would personally scar you for life.

I did try my mrs thong on once, I had a bollock hanging either side. Funny at the time.

However on saying the above I do always have a quick swing round one of the support poles we have in our office. Got busted by our Tech director the other week.
