im sure it happens on the overrun but i remember seeing shots and flashes when i was on the accelerator..

Every single s14/s14a with an exhaust, and no dumpvalve will pop huge flames, my old 400 bhp s14a spat a flame on every change, i swear it would set fire to some bugger if they get too close lolHave you been on SXOC? They are a decent bunch and will answer any questions, just dont tell em you drift corners or speed because they never do that as its illegal.

sxoc has some decent people on it but the mods are a bunch of w****rs, lol. bit of a dead forum too, get 2 answers every day in total. The knowledge on there isn't the best either.
PassionFord has the best technical and mechanical info imo. This is the first forum i joined and fords are me 1st love apart from being branded a chav by some, pf is the coolest

i got banned from the sxoc as they all said its easier to take the engine and gearbox out as one from an s13, i dissagreed as i found it easier to seperate them on mine.
but as bren i think it was said to do it all as one, everyone else jumped down my throat.

the thread i called someone ned flanders on and got banned on was started by a guy who was saying everytime he pulls up home his neighbour starts swearing and shouting at him for his ex pipe!
everyone started saying "ahh grow up and get an exhaust bung", "your a chav" (being a sxoc favourite too)
i got in and said if your neighbour actually does that he sounds like a prick so just carry on as you do but still keep revs low..... as i was the only one that went against the grain guess what? I GOT BANNED
as long as there are flames on over run it means theres fuel still going in and it can also cool the valves down, as mine was mapped for track they left it to over fuel on overrun for this reason
formula 1 cars flame and so do rally cars even touring cars they cant all be chavs surely?
well "Forum 1" racers say even turbo chatter is for chavs..... Who remembers the noise of group b rally cars? but then they're just mere chavs drivng those cars, the real men are on car forums
I've been banned from SXOC twice. Once for calling some one a cunt in jest and once for posting I picture of somebody sliding down a rainbow and at the bottom it said "Use drugs because in real life you can't slide down a rainbows".
but never say you drive fast, never say you drift, never say you have an after market ex pipe thats louder than stock, never say you got turbo chatter, flames, stickers, timberlands, listen to hip hop, etc etc..... infact its pritty hard to live without being branded a chav or hooligan....
