Hi mate just got your PM

Can you post a pic of get a part number from anything.

With Vw parts its quite important to establish the year of them, as it can have quite a drastic effect on price.

for example a pair of indicators for my 1949 beetle were Ł600 a pair o bought for my 1970 last month were Ł25

If they are 60's on then best site is

volkszone /vzi
http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/subscri...n&folderid=all

The samba is also good, its an american site, but lots of uk members
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/

If the parts are older then try my old regular site

Pre67vw
http://forums.pre67vw.com/default.aspx

Try get some pics up mate, PM me again if you prefer, ill try and identifiy them a bit better, as you could be on to a small fortune there.

If they are split/oval parts, well i know a chap who just spent Ł20k restoring his 1000cc 22bhp 1948 engine!!!!
and the other extreme a set of 1641 od 1776cc pistons, heads also fetch good money!!

hope this helps

thanks lee, the twins were round as their clued up on their vw stuff, theirs some steel wheels up their with brand new tyres and i think stuart said they were 1967? he was saying that before that they used 5 stud or something? i will get some pic's,

i found

2 heads
4 piston's and cylinder liners
2 set's of vw steel wheel's with new tyres
a wolfsburg edition steering wheel
a box with brand new carpet trim's, i'm guessing their beetle or vw of some sort, boxes of vw rear light's vwbeetle wheel centre cap's

a mint 3 door parcel shelf! and loads of other litle bit's and bob's

could be worth a few quid then do you reckon?

cheers

Get some part number up mate, i should be able to give you an accurate year and relative price.

First impressions are your easily sitting on at least Ł600 maybe even a grand there!
