The final showdown in the film sounds like it will be VERY VERY good.

Its to do with the Pyramids being built to home some sort of power device.......... They have not long finished filming the final scenes with the Transformers fighting on them with the humans...... It is the FIRST TIME EVR anyone has been allowed to go up the side of them, let alone on film.

Looks to be a SUPERB sequel

Great news, great thread. Megan "Hubba hubba" Fox again.

 

basically megatron got killed and that wound up the deceptacons so they sent all of them down to kill everyone and everything, thats alot of the story from what ive worked out up to yet, im trying to work out what the big deceptacon is, at first on the rubbish quality i thought it was the original scorpnok, ie had one when i was 10yrs old and loved it.

But now here it maybe there version of devastator so not sure, here below is the old scorpnok, it was huge!!

It's an RH400 excavator, so would be red/orange part that makes the back/torso from what I can see (and shoulders where it says RH400 )

There were some leaked designs of the complete devastator a few days ago...

devastator is a gesalt (more commonly known in the tf world as a combiner) where all the constructicons got together to form devastator, scrapper, hook, bonecrusher (fucked up by prime in the first movie when he put a sword through his face), longhaul, mixmaster and scavenger

widely acknowleged as the "best" of the combiners (first unvieled in the heavy metal war episode), even though bruticus (starscreams brigade) was stronger, the combaticons were dumbo's and easily outsmarted, onslaught, blast off, brawl, swindle and vortex wern't the brightest of the bunch

they pummeled devastator's ass when they met up first time around, then twated menasaur (stunticon cominber) the team of motormaster, breakdown, deadend, dragstrip and wildrider

predaking came in real late so even though he was the toughest, he was also not really major to the storyline and being as though he was a bit of a loner it wasn't really anything other than a spin off
razerclaw, divebomb, headstrong, rampage and tantrum made them up

the 2 main autobot combiners were made up of the airelbots (superion, madeup of silverbolt, air raid, fireflight, slingshot and skydive) and defensor (the protectobots made up of hotspot, blades, first aid, grooe and streetwise)

scorponok was showcased in season 4, headmasters/the rebirth depending on which books you read, but was basicly a city that transformed, same with fortress maximus and metroplex on the autobots side

there were around 90 odd episodes of transformers, season 1 and 2 were pre the movie, and season 3 was post movie, but there was a 20 year gap between the end of season 2 and the movie which explains why there was a whole difference of charachters in the later episodes

devastator is going to be huge in the film, some leaked photos of the toy aswell werre released yesterday, unlike what dojj has said about the getsalt team, basically it will only be veichles that transform into devastator and no robot modes at around Ł100 mark, and then individual sales of the veichles that turn into robots and not megre for devstator lol and hes rumoured to stand around 2ft tall

after season 4 there was more

as japan got the movie really late, so they created there own seasons which were, headmasters, masterforce and vicory

headmaster being season 3, then masterforce showed were the powermasters and pretenders came from (pretender going to be in new revenge of fallen film aswell) and victory is just well, weird

 

i know there were much more than just the original series mate

i just think that the proper transformers should be based on the g1 stuff and everything else should have names tagged onto the end just like the cartoons have

 

Can't wait to see this at the cinema. I hope they do the dinobots justice and make them as stupid as they used to be

Ive got the headmasters box set here, tho i started watching it recently and realised the animation isnt as great as you remember when your little, but i can easy watch the cartoon movie a million times!

Im not impressed if they create a toy that turns into devastator but not into individual robots as that bits important, ill still prob drool like a 5yr old tho.

With all the decepacons coming down for revenge it will be interesting if they get some more autobots in to equal the numbers, dont think optimus could go on a killing spree like he did halfway threw the cartoon movie

as you know with scorponok picture above the head for it is the same size as the little man standing next to the big head, who is the head for that head in robot mode , christ that took some saying lol
