They dont have a dedicated cold star injector like the 3i's......so for cost and ease of removal/refit i'd try a thermotime switch first. If its no better your probably looking at poor metering unit setup.

Hi,
The fiesta turbo, doesent have a thermo time switch as to control the cold start injector, for the old Ke injection system of the escort RST, so also the fiesta doesent have a metering unit,
I would go for the easy option first of checking out the CTS, (coolant temp sensor) the sensor that tells the ecu the engine temp for fuelling, also check the map sensor function and output, and fuel pressure, i assume you are running the fiesta turbo engine management eecIV.

It may explain why you cant find certain sensors, if you have a metering unit, A device on the lower inner wing of the passenger side when looking into the engine bay, has lots of red plastic piping coming from it, leading to the inlet manifold to injectors, This would mean it has the KE injection system off a Escort RST,.
If your injectors have a electrical connector on them it is more than likely to be eecIV engine managment other than this, maybe someone has put after market management on the car such as omex!
