Hi, For those of you who have fitted / know how to fit the auto dim mirros (found in top model scorpios and the newer mondeaos)

don't like 'em myself. would never consider fitting one. but as far as i know, they are self contained and just need power (and maybe another signal when your lights are on?) and the sensors inside measure the difference in light to dim as required.

it's the difference in shade between the door mirros and the interior one when you have someone behind that i don't like. it makes the distance seem different somehow. maybe after a while you get used to it.

There called electrochromatic mirrors chap - some shit hot applications for this in the future - like camoflauging tanks and stuff
