i think their sensors work just like a crank sensor so when it sees a "lug" it will send a signal to the dash or whatever,

soo, if the gearbox had a trigger wheel on the shaft it would be able to do it i think

Dont the gearbox sensors just work on a simple revolving cog???

Dont stack dashes have programmable inputs then?? Id of thought the dash would be really clever and all that.

the revolving cog is the same principle as the trigger wheels, the sensor sees a lug then gap then lug then gap, everytime it sees the lug it will send the data to the dash to work it all out i guess

You still need to input the data of lugs per complete revolution though, why not just tap a abs sensor ?, as dash must be adjustable input.
