im sure they do 2 types a road legal tyre and then just a tack day tyre im not 100% though.
and as for the wet i had them on my ibiza and they were excellent in the wet especially on track

I've had both compounds of R888 on a road car and both are legal.

I have never had them just i was told they were bad in the wet.

The softer compound ones come with stickers on them saying something along the lines of competition use only or not for road use.

Mediums are fine - I did 4k miles on mine last year.
FOr a tyre to be legal you just need it to be E-marked meaning it has passed European Type Approval.

they are "odd" in the wet
Terrible under brakeing and dealing with standing water!
But in terms of acceleration or cornering grip I found them fine compared with std road tyres....

We sell 3 specs of the 888:
GG...... Medium Hard
GGG.....Soft
SG.......Super soft/wet
The main compound is the GG, the other compounds are only available in a few sizes.
