Default whos ran a gt35?

on a 2.0 yb?

is it really overkill for 500bhp or will it be ok.

i have a gt35 at mo but been toying with idea of dropping to gt30 but if its going to sufficiant enough ill keep it.
anyone got any power graph for one?
its going to be a outright track car so driveabilty aint too much of a issue.

500bhp is what garrett would recomend you use a GT35 for.

Its very much in its comfort zone there, especially at the 1.5 - 2.0 bar of boost a YB will tend to run at that sort of level (depending on cams and head mods etc)

So yes, its a perfectly suitable turbo IF you "arent bothered about driveability" like you mention.

3076 does drive a lot nicer on a YB though IMHO, the YB seems to be quite a bad engine for big turbos in general, I cant beleive how flat they feel with a GT35R compared to my nova on the same turbo!

Try the GT35 and see what you personally think of it.

If you keep the revs up, its not going to be too bad.

GT35 and hydraulics IMHO is the worst possible combination for on a track!

I would go for a GT35 for track use.

You could always stick a very small sniff of gas in it above say 2k rpm and below 10psi.
