hahaha martin just has a VERY heavy right foot
i stuck Ł20 of normal unleaded at 82.9p a litre a few days ago and reckon i did 150miles off that but thats guessin with what was in tank before/after.say easy 130miles anyway to be on safe side.stuck in a tenner 2 days ago and done 50 miles or bit more and still got enough room before empty!
so all in i think the car is fantastic!
another comparison is i left bristol with a full tank of 50litres and headed for home.its a 1.6gti box so revs are well high at 70/80mph on motorway.i had a good 10/15 mile runt with a golf turbo at anythin up to 120 too and wanna know how many miles the tank did to just b4 the light came on? 290 miles!
UNBELIEAVABLY cool wee car that are cheap as chips to buy and run

If it has a standard Mi16 engine and the conversion is done using the Mi16 ECU instead of keeping the standard 1.9 GTi one then you should get the same economy as any 405 Mi16 (or better as there is less weight to get shifted pulling away from lights etc.
But, you will rag it everywhere as it will be so much fun!!
P.S. About the Ecu's mentioned above, a 1.9 ecu might get just as good economy but I wouldn't know!
