Need a New Compressor, Any Suggestions Please?
Im looking to buy a new compressor as I have a Clarke SB973 Sand blast cabinet, but my current Sealey 22503 Air Compressor is not powerful enough for it. Spec on each:
Sealey SB973 Sand Blast Cabinet Details:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sealey-SB973-S...1%7C240%3A1318
Sealey 22503 Air Compressor Details:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sealey-SA22503...1%7C240%3A1318
Is there any decent Single Phase compressors out there that can power this blast cabinet without running out of puff?
Ive searched the net, but only trust makes Ive heard off, such as Sealey. I don't mind paying up to £500, maybe more for the right compressor (New or used).
Can anyone help? There's 100's of different ones and I keep getting fed up searching Ive got alot of work coming in shortly and with my current setup I have to keep taking 5min breaks every 20mins for compressor to catch up (Would be ok if I still smoked )
I looking to order by end of this week if I can find a good one
Thanks

this one only has 116psi
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sealey-SA22503...3A1|240%3A1318
this one is 145psi
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sealey-SA1020-...3A1|240%3A1318
if you buy a good one it will be handy for using air tools with you can allways turn the pressure down

Ill try and find the link when I get home from the company I bought it from... was cheaper than MM

Baz, that 145psi looks better for the same price. But concerned with their reliability now you've mentioned it
I changed the last 3 digits to 200 and found the 200ltr tank If you can provide a link mate it would be appreciated for price
Dojj, I have a regulator and lines already. Just need a decent compressor so my blast cabinet actually works. The compressor dies quite quickly, so I have to keep stopping. Takes fooking ages to blast anything!!

Runs my blast cab fine but you will need a filter reg for water extraction

Im looking at the http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/pr...pressors-elect
Spoke to Machine Mart to see what discount I could get, but they wouldn't do any as apparently the price is already "For the trade". It is the 2nd cheapest price I found and the other company I brought my sand blast cabinet from, so emailing them for best price
Hopefully will have one by end of week and I can get cracking on some bits I have waiting
Ive got a Sealey filter alreayd in place, so just need a decent compressor now
My old compressor is on EBAY, so it will help towards the cost of the new one
