I know what you mean about the burning skin smell, it's quite nice isn't it. I once lent on a soldering iron and funnily enough I smelt it before I felt it. Had a huuuuge blister which I stuck a pin in and drained. It was gross.
My Mrs is in the process of getting this done just now and she says the pain isn't too bad - she's had the full whack too as she said there was the odd spark when the lassie turned it right up!
Her tatt is getting there slowly but it'll be worth it in the end. Will try and get pics of it if I can to show what yours should look like in a few months.
JK
Fair play to her!!! I must just be a wimp! Some pictures would be fantastic!

I`ve been for 1 session so far and it look`s f**k all like your`s, i think they have lasered to much in the one go and burnt your skin. I`am Ł50 a go and that`s for a full hour`s treatment on as many of my tattoo`s as i want. Getting one on my back done and one on my left arm. Did`nt think it was painful at all
a lad I used to know had mam and dad on his fingers, (got them years ago when he was young and daft) you look at his hands now and you would never know there had been any ink on them..
keep at it maria it's deffo the right thing to do.

i like both of them why do you want rid of em !
Well, the white lines have pretty much gone now already, and funnily enough i can see a couple of bits on my arm that have already disappeared!!! It must be where the ink was only very thin and not very deep! but none the less a few spots have already gone!!
basically jim, when i go back next time (in about 6 weeks) they will laser the same bits again, but also concentrate on the other areas they didnt quite get this time!

for what it's worth though, i didn't see anything wrong with the tattoo's in the first place but if you feel you need to remove them then hopefully it will all work out fine and dandy
but i keep thinking to myself... if i ever get married again,.... im gonna look like a right pikey in a stunning strapless dress and then a manky barb wire tattoo!!
Hmmmmm is there something you've got to tell us Maria ?

Should we all be shopping for hats ?
We was keeping it private... But, seeing as your eagle eye is sharper than everyone else's. You shall be the first to know, we are engaged. As for the laser, that looks painful.

burning skin is bad, i tried to catch a falling soldering iron and was glad i missed most of it
i also burnt my thumb to the exhaust manifold on my escort, both my thumb and what was left on the manifold were yellow and sizzling for ages
didn;t someone on here burn the word Garrett backwards into their arm accidentally
your a brave girl maria, i'd have been out of there if it hurt on the first zap
No no no no really I have nothing to tell anyone! I am NOT getting married! Considering I'm not even in a relationship with anyone I don't think marriage will be on the cards for quite a number of years!
Well this morning they are both still quite hot and a little swollen but don't really hurt at all!
How many Laser sessions are you going to need Maria? I had a mate who actually did his own tattoos (don't ask) when he was younger and recently had them lasered off (basically because they looked stupid) and it took him several sessions.

But Maria is having her tattoo removed with a laser, not a soldering iron........
