Hmmm well a decent halfsleeve will set my back a fair few hundred quid!!
but then tha also defeats the object of being able to wear nice strappy tops!
ive decided, i am gonna go for the first session and see how my skin reacts..... if i then decide not to have any more done, then at least i still have the option of going for a cover up!

PassionFord Post Whore!!
In the space that says 'Its going to hurt'
Then next week you park in the space next to it that says
Its going to hurt more
If you go right up the car park there is a spot that says '
'Whats that white ring on your arm, have you been wearing armbands for swimming'
Sorry Maria... but you know that a lovely japanese quarter sleeve by a good artist would look lovely and you would have no shame in showing it off

No doubt if she got a cover up she'd regret that in a few years time too, and that means even more laser treatment.
Oooh just over an hour to go, when you setting off?

Seriously... DONT EVER FUCKING GET THIS DONE!!!
The pain in unbelievable! It hurt way more than any tattoo ever hurt me, and i am still in agony now!
To be fair it was all done and dusted very quickly, and i also decided whilst i was there, i would get that dark patch on my hip removed too! If i had it done separately itwould of cost me another Ł90 a time, but if i had it done at the same time as my arm, it all came to Ł120! so only an extra Ł30!
This was my arm before:

Honestly the pain was almost unbearable, i had to ask her to stop twice. I had a squidgy ball thing that i ruined with my nails where i was gribbing it so hard!
Each little bit you can see, felt like a burning red hot staple gun being fired in to me! Not at all what i imagined!

To be fair, the one on my hip i will only get lasered until it is reduced sufficiently to have a paler tattoo put over it.
I always HATED the big dark blob.... so this is giving me the chance to get it lightened, to finally get something pretty put over it.
However, the one on my arm ill continue to have done until it is all gone.

my mate says go and buy some 'bio-oil' to help with the healing process, speeds things up a bit and will vastly reduce any scarring/skin damage
looks like they didnt ease you into it with a light session 1st, so no wonder it was painful but like u say, even if u only do it enough to lighten it, makes a coverup easier and with betetr results

Apparently the laser strength they used was quite weak... they started at 7.1 and apparently i will go up to 10!!!
I look slimmer in clothes!

Fucking ouch!!!
Kinda funny at the same time though, did you not think putting a laser...effectivly burning youself over and over would not hurt, lol.
Have you not seen James bond, he avoids getting laser'd at all cost and he's double well hard.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
My Mrs is in the process of getting this done just now and she says the pain isn't too bad - she's had the full whack too as she said there was the odd spark when the lassie turned it right up!
Her tatt is getting there slowly but it'll be worth it in the end. Will try and get pics of it if I can to show what yours should look like in a few months.

Have to say i think it will even out really well as it looks to be breaking up nicely even after one sitting.
