Twellsie - will do honey!
Smit - yeah thats the one on arcade street! i think it was you who originally recommended them to me!
G2R - it doesnt scar as such, it will just lighten the skin pigmentation a little where they treat it, but it will soon return to normal!

I like the armband
Not really a big fan of tatoos, but small subtle ones in the right places can be cool.
Your armband one looks fine to me, but if you want to get rid of it then grin and bear it and get it done! Might be painful and pricey in the short term, but from the sounds of it you'll be happier with yourself and your appearance in the longer term.
Got to do what you want to do, and don't get put off by us lot on here!

I prefer the band to the other one to be honest, looks nice and feminine. And if you're only wanting rid so you can wear strappy tops then I wouldn't bother, very few people will actually be looking at your arm.....

Anything you do to help with pain? Maybe a drink or 3 before hand, or take a stupid man along with you so you can squeeze his hand each time it hurts.
Deffo not volunteering for that job
Shocking, thought never crossed my mind etc....

For Sale..Apply within.
Ive recently had a cover up on my ankle...The bottom petal is covering a chinese symbol I had done, you can just about see a bit of it.
Yes I have cankles, it swelled up after walking on it for 5 hours after
Tattooing over the same spot hurt more than a normal tattoo...but stuff getting laser treatment. Youre a brave woman maria.
Did you look into all the other options before hand like whiting out?

And I bet with that picture of her belly you never thought "where's her boobs gone".
You got anyone in mind?
Surely you could just tie a ribbon round it.

i have seen chicks who have had tattoos removed and you can tell, they were removals and you could still see what it was and the skin looked rough and a outline of the removed tat. i would not have a removal unless you could see with you own eyes what the person doing it has acchieved on someone else.

tbh as much as im not into tattoo's, i dont think thats worth a removal. everyones skin recacs differently, some look ok, and some end up as white as michael jackson lol, as once they start, they need their whole body doing lol
thinking about it, did jacko try to have a tat removed, thats how he ended up white lol?

This is what the site says about scarring
Does the laser cause scarring?
Although there is a risk of scarring with any laser, in most cases, scarring is not a significant risk for tattoo removal with the ruby laser. Tattoo removal has become associated with scarring because the first lasers used for tattoo removal were very aggressive and carried a high risk of scarring. The ruby laser does not heat the surrounding skin significantly and the risk of scarring is much reduced. The risk of scarring is mainly associated with a genetic pre-disposition to forming scar tissue and the presence of resistant, green pigment. To reduce the risk, we carry out an extensive medical evaluation to identify high-risk clients; most clinics also have an adjunct treatment that can stop scar tissue forming and even improve existing scarring.

you have to remember they are sales people, they don't say negative things and if they did you would be out the door quick smart.
tbh if you can't see someone who has been there and had a tattoo removed you need to ask yourself why, its not like your asking for the impossible just reasurrance your doing the right thing.

Sarah - you can see on this tattoo i had a cover up... the two flowers at the bottom, and they look soooo dark! If the removal on my arm goes well, i'll get the two dark bits removed here too!
Big G - i soooo very nearly went and got a half sleeve done... but then i thought it would be defeating the object of why im actually getting this one removed... i wanna be able to wear nice strappy tops without feeling concious of them!

my mate started having sessions to remove a tribal design from his upper arm. 60quid a time, had 5 sessions, and it just made a shit tattoo look more shit lol. didnt really fade all over, just went patchy
plus they lure u into a false sense of security, the 1st session is low power, then the treatments get more n more intense, cringe spec!!
on the plus side u dnt have to wait 6-8 weeks between sessions, thats just a guide, depending on how well it heals, and how much u mind the pain as it will just be more tender in a shorter time frame
id say get a cover up. if its gonna cost 500+ to remove, u cud spend less than half that at an awesome tattoo artist's and get something really classy that your more proud of. id also say that people notice and cnt help staring at scars more than they do tattos, which are commonplace these days
