Default [New developments for P8] Anti lag and Launch Control with IAW advanced diagnostics

Anyone who has enquired previous will know that historically, Anti lag was only available for P8 with the Pectel datastream output and we did not offer launch Control for P8 at all.

I am pleased to announce that we can now offer Anti Lag and / or Launch Control for p8.

But we can also offer the advanced IAW output for most of our P8 files which offers far more features than standard Pectel output and is a must for doing any regular work on these aging vehicles.

The YB P8 IAW output is unique and ONLY works with the IAW monitor, but those customers equipped with one can enjoy all the normal Pectel type datastream outputs such as:

Standard output for L8 and P8 datastreams.
Ecu error codes
RPM (TDC Sensor)
Coolant temp
Air charge temp
Map sensor
Throttle position sensor
ECU input voltage
CO trimmer
Injector pulse width in MS
Spark advance figure in degrees

But also extra ones such as:
Knock Monitoring.
Lambda Correction rate monitoring.
Injector timing.

Extra Features for diagnostics:
The ability to activate engine components for testing, such as:
Fuel pump circuit.
Amal valve circuit test pulsing
Idle valve circuit test pulsing
Ignition Coil 2&3 circuit test pulsing
Ignition Coil 1&4 circuit test pulsing
Injector circuit test pulsing

You can probably now imagine a lot of diagnosti tasks over the years that would have been made MUCH easier by this software? We have been using it for years and its outstanding.

This ALS and LC software can be retrofitted to most of our existing chips out there. Please ask for details.

Prices are as per L8 ALS and LC prices.
The IAW advanced output will come with it automatically.

Full R.R.P (inc vat) will be:
P8 Ecu ALS program = £350.
P8 ECU Launch Control program = £250.
Both purchased as package. = £500.
IAW advanced diagnostic output = £FOC with most new maps if compatible.

As per all our P8 chips, you can request that they drive:
Wasted Spark config.
Air Injectors config.

Free of charge if you are buying a new map from us.
It can be all done by post sent out on next day delivery for only £6.

Both ALS and LC systems are normally only available with our own P8 ECU Calibrations, so if you have a NON Motorsport Developments P8 chip, you will have to buy a chip for your spec as well. We decided against converting other tuners software, even though we can, as then we would be the last to touch the map, and we have no interest in going down that route, sorry.

We can do all, the fitting, but would prefer you get your own ALS valves and throttle bodies as we are not really equipped for machine work. These items are readily available and we provide DIY instructions detailing how to mod your own valve for the mildest version of ALS.

Two points well worth noting,
1) Launch Control does NOT require a modded valve at all and it works out of the box.

2) Your P8 must have been modified to enable comms If it has not, we can do it for you at the price of £35 +vat +postage.

Finally, its worth noting that we have teamed up with RP labs to extend our Xmas special offer so if you buy an IAW monitor and serial lead together in December and get a huge 25% discount!

Eg: Pro version, was £275 inc vat, now £206.25
Saving you a massive £68.75!

Great news

With upgrading to the advanced IAW output, does this mean older Pectel monitors will cease to work with modded ECUs? Or is the IAW datastream backwards compatible so the Pectel monitors will still work?
