Brought series one off a so called mate and found out its nothing more than a flintstone car. Only brought it so i didnt have to use me focus rs and i havent even drove it cuz its that unsafe. So need a shell or somat now to transfer everything over.

you should make decent money breaking it if the interior,body kit etc is in good condition!

 

2600 in september wasn't all that bad mate, only tatty rotters were going for that money at that time.

Sounds like you just paid the going rate on one rather than getting a good deal.

I bRought (lol) an XR2 of my sisters fella for 200 notes about 10 years ago, knew sod all about cars, wheel bearing was gone, no indicators, was blowing white smoke and when it went on a ramp the mechanic said "I would get shot of this quick it's a total lemon"

I sold it for 300 quid so weren't all bad.

One guy turned up with his daughter, she loved it and he seemed to know less than me about cars lol, I asked if he knew about cars or mechanics, to which they said no.

Being a nice guy I told them to leave with their cash in their pockets as it was not the car for them, the guy who bought it new his stuff and owned a couple already. When he collected it, him and his misses argued about who was going to drive it home (both wanted to lol) and watched them actually race down the street over taking each other.
