Bit peed off today, was suppose to be collecting my new project tomorrow but he's text to say it was involved in an accident last night. I've text him back saying I'm still interested even damaged but no reply even tried to call him but nothing, think personally he's just sold it to someone else. The search will continue for another 6 months to a year for another one no doubt maybe even longer.

If that's the case then just be honest and say they have changed their mind. Yes you would be fed up but maybe not as pissed off as being lied too ?

The seller doesn't know him, and isn't his mate (I'm assuming), so why would he give a fuck if the buyer was pissed off or not?

It's a c##ts trick but I can't say I haven't done similar myself. I'd agreed to sell a car for a price and then been offered more 30 mins later and I used the same excuse. Not going to turn down more money at the end of the day. I would be pissed off though. Tell you what, why don't you cheer yourself up with a lovely rs turbo'd van project

Yes, I know that. But do you think if he didn't give enough of a shit about the buyer to honour the sale, he'd gave enough of a shit about politeness and manners to be honest about it?

Thankfully most of us have been brought up not dragged up. Manner cost nothing! No excuse to lie or be lied too.

Providing he has done that you have every right to be pissed.

Yes I know that too. It's clear that most people here, including yourself and I, wouldn't do what the seller has done. I get on the brunt end of so many peoples bad manners on a daily basis, and it baffles me why people behave the way they do, especially considering they called me to do something for them, yet still behave the way they do. Such is life
