FAO: OMEGA Watch owners
Firstly, with the new rules is talking about Watch's allowed? or will I recieve infraction points? banned??
Anyway,
Looking at treating myself to an Omega Seamaster.. Liked the blueface but the guy in the shop reckons the black face is the later version so probably opt for that but I noticed that they come in two sizes, well the one Im looking at does. Unfortunately I have puny wrists so the 41mm will look a bit big, so Im tempted for the smaller one... but is it the ladies version
By the time I get the links taken out of the strap there will only be a couple left
Who has one, and lets see....

so you wont spend 50quid on a decent wallet, but you'll spend $$$$ on an Omega? they'll look great together

Davey.. I went for a duct tape wallet and to be honest mate... its embarrassing Looked ok(ish) in the pic but when it arrived, its shiny Obvioulsy doesnt get used so its back to loosing money out my pockets again..
As for the watch, I wear my current tag everyday and have since I got it 11 years back... So I can justify the cash on a new one as it will get worn daily. So its value for money IMO lol..

I have the Blue Faced Seamaster in the large MENS version
I have the one that James Bond actually wears.....NOT the Limited edition "Bond 007 Seamaster" which i think is a little tacky with the 007 logo all over it
Make sure you get the Automatic winding one.....not the Pikey Battery one

Im a Tag man myself and like you I dont have a massive wrist so the full size mens ones look ridiculous on me. As im sure you're aware they do the large mens, the ladies, and the mid size ones in mens. I just picked myself up a nice AquaRacer - silver with black face. Nice looking watch, and appropriate to your wrist size. If you havent got the right size arms for it, it doesnt matter how expensive the watch is, it'll still look shit

I was actually looking at getting the gypo battery one Is there much difference in price between the two?
So the smaller one is for females then
Wheres a good place to get one from as the net is cheaper but would prefer to buy from a shop.

To be honest Simon, its principle why I will not donate to this site. Why pay 10 quid to get banned lol.. If the money actually went to a Ford enthusiast who ran the site then I probably would, but I am not keen on yanks so dont want to make them any richer lol..

I "Think" the auto one is about Ł300 more............could be wrong though.
Find a good jewellers near you, thats what i did and i took it for a service a few months back and even got a courtesy Seamaster while mine was being serviced
As for the size............depends on how big your arms are and weather it looks right..................But if you get the small one it will ALWAYS be a girls watch
I "Think" the auto one is about Ł300 more............could be wrong though.
Find a good jewellers near you, thats what i did and i took it for a service a few months back and even got a courtesy Seamaster while mine was being serviced

Ive not had a decent watch in ages, I have a diesel one but I dont find myself wearing it much other than to go out! Might treat myself to a nice one this year.

so the watch will overhang.... But obviously cant go wearing a womans one! May have to go for mid sized mens then.. job done.. Just always thought large was for men, and all other sizes for the ladies.

Will look into the non battery one but really not sure if I can justify a further 300 quid on it.

My old man got one for his 21st birthday from his nan.... He is 60 now and 5 years back it got stolen when they got burgled.. Absolute cunts... Had happy 21st ect engraved on the back... Really saddens me to think some junkie probably sold it for 20 quid for a quick fix.. Its the sentimental vlue, not money..

The Mid Size is a gents one - i was going to get it but was made to have the ladies one, as it was a bit butch for me
(and it's not a gypo one Tiff they only do the ladies one with a battery. can't get it automatic)
