Had a PS3 for Crimbo and got a Belkin N wireless router as recommended by the bloke in the shop as the best. Got it all set up and working but when I'm playin online with the ps3 I get booted off regulary which is a fookin nightmare when your enjoyin a game.

Any techy folk have any clues on whether it'll be talk talk broadband or the router?? ( talk talk does disconect sometimes when wired to the old modem but nowhere near as much as wireless.)

Spent more than I wanted on the router anyway to save cabling it but I'd rather cable it than get booted off every few minutes?

Can any settings be changed or does anyone else use a similar set-up??

i would say the router tbh we had this ended up changing the router and you tryed wiring the ps3 to the router see if that helps

Do you use a Bluthooth headset? When I use mine it Kills my connection! No idea why as it never used to!

Mine was doing this too - turned out it was the Bluetooth on my PC causing the interferance(sp) Turned the bluetooth on the PC off and it worked perfect. Also check your phone too, the bluetooth on there could interfere.

Used to have this problem when i was on talktalk broadband so junked there modem and went up tesco and bought one of the zoom adsl wireless routers worked much better ps3 works fine on this after that it was just connection probs with talktalk needless to say im now with sky and that has not dropped a connection for 6 months!!

hardwire the PS3 and then ditch TALKCRAP as they block a hugh amount of uncoming connection

You sir sound like you need to change the channels your wireless is on.

A quick google with your model number an wireless change instructions will tell you exactly how to do it.

yes as above, i use my ps3 with talk talk on a netgear router with no talk talk modem, so i have to set up the netgear manualy ie the peramiters for the conection and the user name password etc..
i did have a problem when useing the talktalk modem but as soon as i binned that and used another it was fine, ive never had a problem since but i would change your channel on the router and try agian.

just changed mine from wireless to wired, 1000 times better now and quicker downloads..

I have a belkin N1 routor & i run my ps3 wireless at the mo, i dont have any troubles like that!
