Default Orlando, Florida accomodation ???

Wife and I only (no kids) - for two weeks in September - we have flights and car hire sorted but can't decide on accomodation

we want something a bit better than the usual Motel room - should we get a better hotel room - or a villa. I know its all a risk until you get there as pictures dont always tell the true story

doesnt seem much in it price wise - we have been before but always had cheaper rooms as out all day in theme parks etc.
but this time we are staying two weeks in Orlando and chilling a bit as well as theme parks etc.

anyone got any experience of good hotels/villas ?

thanks David

when we used to go over we would sort the accomodation out once we were there, alot of the motels as partners, if you go to the cheap one first they are always booked up, they pass you onto there sister hotel at the same cost, on 3 out of the 5 times we have visited we stayed at the omni rosen(sp) for i think it was 39USD a night for 4 of us!

was there around same time last year

try the doubletree castle hotel, just off international drive

cheap for the quality of the hotel itself, safe for your kids,(that you arent bringing lol) free shuttles to all parks etc (we hired a car too but buses are there incase you dont wanna drive)

theres a british pub across the road along with your usual dennys, pizza hut etc
