You are right about the rarity, when I was in the Escort Cabriolet Club I was the only person with one in that colour and the spec. It only had electric windows when I got it

Remember my auntie having one of the pink ones when they were new! I always wanted her to get a turbo but she only had eyes for the cabs.
I could have sworn the half leather was black though, but I guess it was a few years ago.

the blue F plate ltd editions your on about isnt amalfi its `Aquafoam`
i had one donkeys years back, beigey coloured power roof, 14" Cossie alloys and half leather recaros.
Steve give us a ring, i saw one of the pink ones for sale recentley with the correct seats etc, by the time you ring ill have remembered where i saw it

We have settled on the amalfi blue ones being from a G plate and being "Special Editions" NOT "Limited Editions", so theoretically they as common as, the amount of people that speced (chose) the colour ! Interiors not really a problem to us

amalfi was NOT `a ltd colour
alex Amalfi is a strange colour on fords system aint you noticed, look on the microfich and mine was classed as crystal blue ?????
its one of the better colours though AND they dont seem to rust,, my old one was dented to fuck, worn out everywhere but had no rust on it, and some animal took a grinder to the arch lips to stop the 17's scrubbing
PS: why didnt you call be back the other day when i called your work, i NEEDED your help with a etis enquiry

fayes been useing her cabrio every day for the last month
as there is another cabrio in there she not to happy with me as her car is dirty

im loving it tho! Although you should see the state of my engine bay never seen it so dirty it don't look like my car after a few to many blasts down to dover an back in the shitty weather lol Think i have used it more this winter than i did the whole of the summer! Someone has brought another Cabrio that is stripped on the drive so i can't get it back in the garage

What he has sold of it already has paid for the car. Will sell the car when the summer nears

i know, I was refering to the F reg LTD EDITION CABRIOS, the amythist one and the aqua one,,,, the amalfi is NOT the same car, its NOT ltd edition, its NOT the same colour its just a xr3i in a special edition colour
that was what i was getting on about,,, alot of people call it amalfi OR call amalfi blue aqua blue,,, iwas mentioning the difference

they should all be power hooded as this was standard on the 90spec 3i.
they had a limited edtion 90 spec which was also efi, with two tone paint and non recaro half leather. they were blue with silver, gold with black and burgendy with silver.
they also had limited colours on mfi, amathist blue(looks pink) acua blue almost baby blue.
then there was the tennis which was white with green badges and half leather recaros
