Haha mate, good luck !
It took me 3 years to find some, and found 2 a few weeks ago, now I'm waiting for them to arrive at home. Costed me a hell of money, and the guy who sold me these had them made specially. Only 2 in carbon fibre.
Maybe I will send one to a company to have some made in plastic fiber, because if I break an original carbon one, I will kill myself haha.

Yes but only on the sapphires :

Btw they only fit the OZ 17" wheels. Not 16" or 18", because the group A sapphires used 17" wheels.
As soon as I get them, I will try to take contact with a company. But the whole process will take few months (finding a good company, have them made, get them, ...).

Can be fitted to any kind of wheel.
You don't need to drill holes in wheels.
Particularly, they can be installed, by the use of 3 rear brackets, on every stock wheel of 15” or 16”, on the speedline montecarlo and the compomotive th2 in 16” or 17” version. You can have with front carbon e rear carbon kevlar as the original abarth.

Sounds interesting. Yes these were also used on some sapphires back then by the teams who couldn't get the original ones (I'm still talking about Ford), but these are way far less great than the original ford motorsport versions for Ford. 1 piece of carbon fibre. Can't beat that ! Here is a pic :

Do you know how much they are asking for their adaptable ducts btw ?

Haha, yes that was the part I finally found mate ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
I won't fit water-cooled brakes, but group A 315mm APs gravel specs brakes, because I want to be able to use 16" snow wheels too (5x16") and if I fit water-cooled brakes, I think they were at least 330mm big![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Unfortunately, if I drive flat out, I think I will only be able to drive 20% of what Miki can do
But yes, on Swiss twisty roads

Oh and I remember Doug (a member of here) pointed me 2 years ago that 2 ducts were for sale on ebay (they came from a group A toyota), but missed the auction for some reason. I think they went for 350euros as I remember. Very cheap.
And these were not cheap copies like the italian ones posted in this thread, but monobloc, like Lancia, Toyota (as said by Karl) and Ford, used. The 2 new ones I bought and which I posted a picture of, costed me quite more than 350euros. Won't say how much, but its a 4 number price I had to pay !

seems Matts got big balls when it comes to sticking his hand in his pockets, i never really liked them that much but i knew ford were trying all sorts to make the sierra competitive, thats why they ditched the thing and developed the escort cosworth. and they never used the coolers.
if you have a ex works tarmac spec sierra 4x4 cosworth you just have to have them though if you want it to look right.

matt, be shure to take pictures of the vents from every posible angles!
How do you mount them to the wheels?
For airducting issnt it sufficient with only a flexible 3inch tube?

Yes, 4 long bolts. And yes, I had to disconnect my brain to buy these at that price, but as said ballbag, 6 years on ebay and only 1 set which I missed
And I couldn't miss the only 2nd time some were for sale.
Fact is that this is honestly the "ultimate" bit for sierras (sapphires) "rally replica" cars. I am sure that if I find 2 other cars with original brake cooling ducts (and not cheap versions) that must be really the most I will ever see.

Well, I have to get them first (should arrive there next week I think), and then find a company, but I'm not in a hurry mate, have plenty of other things to do first. Took me few years to get them, so honestly, I think I can wait some months for the replicas to be made.
But if you find wheel vents before, feel free to tell me mate. I think I should have some at the beginning of the winter (I prefer to look far, rather than saying spring and not have them by that time) and will have to see how much it cost to have them made.
