it always used to be the bloke with the fattest pockets won in the rsoc, theres just some cars that you can't beat as they have never had paint or panels etc and have never been used properly.
its unfair and i am still shocked over 20 years later that people want to try and prove their car is better than someone elses and let it be judged and get picked at.
i know one bloke who went crazy doing it and he couldn't win because a certain very well known car was just too good and was never used and a trailerd car

it was my first good rs i owned so i never knew what i was getting myself into really..possibly a bit knaive aswell as i was only young...i wasnt happy bout the snidey remarks but neither was my mate, and in the end had to keep him quiet cos there would have been hell on if he started letting his mouth go..i have went to a few regional shows since but i can see some snobs are still about...but im not saying every1 becuse i have met some really sound people who have given me advice and they didnt know me from adam..

It could work out well being later based on the past few summers we've had. Also it seemed abit odd to me having regional shows after ND as imo ND is the big end show.

I think this has more to do with the marque shrinking, when people break cars or move on from Ford to eg Jap they tend to move what shows they attend.

Hopefully with the launch of the new RS it will be bring a newer crowd in, not millions i know but a few.

You wil probably get a few members from the launch of the new rs but the vast majority will buy the rs just cause its a nice new car and not cause there a car enthusiast. Its the same in all other marqes its just the older cars that are owned by enthusiasts and the newer stuff by the general public, lets face it you have to be an enthusiast to own a shonky old ford sierra worth 10k lol
