Hi guys,
Registered to this forum as I love following the project threads and to ask a question or 2 about the puma I have.
It's a decent handling little car. The previous owner had lowered it, which helps even more. I am thinking up putting in real good quality bushes all round (ive heard this has a considerable effect). Would this be a waste of time?
I am not going to waste money on power mods on a cheap car but the breaks are a bit poor.
What would you reccomend? what make of disk and pads would i need?
If I were to get bigger disks (maybe from fiesta st or something) would I be able to use the same calipers?

it looks something like that(albeit 40mm lower) yes I know it's girly, but it's cheap and alot of fun for the price.

replace the bushes with powerflex or FRP ones as they wear out.
The rear beam bushes and wishbone bushes all wear out on them and make a big difference to handling when they are fucked.
Most people go down the mondeo V6 route for brakes as they are easier to fit than cossie brakes, but both are possible to fit.

thanks for your reply. I will investigate mondeo v6 breaks route. how much would v6 breaks all round be roughly? I imagine quite alot!
when I put my car in ill get him to check all the bushes. if fucked, ill put those recommended in. what a fantastic handling little car.
