That Samsung isn't 100Hz scanning though thats why they're selling it off cheap. Old blurry technology (PS50A556S) Is this ay good on the Pioneer?

RS in Croydon had sold out of ALL Sony TVs by lunchtime today. (though they would do you a deal on another make if interested) I suspect its the same nationwide.

I'm looking at Samsung 40in Series 5 (LE40A556). All the online pricing (Curry's, Comet, Dixons Online) seem very close..........just under the Ł600 mark.

Why do they have slightly different Model Numbers between each retailer for the same TV, and yet it appears to be the same identical ??????

Anyone any experience with this one ????????

Don't want to spend over Ł600, just want a nice TV, but it's not the most important thing in my life.

Depends on features that model has, might look the same but certain models will have 1080p/i etc. Also, may be last of line stock from previous season, check up model no.s on manufacturers sites to compare wots wot.

All the TV's are the same (Samsung 40" Series 5), but it appears they give them slightly different model numbers depending on who the retailer is............... Ie Curry's Model Number is LE40A556, Comet's Model Number is LE40A557, and so on.......

Apparently LG do the same thing ! ! !

Gets Damned Confusing.

It's all well and good getting the cheapest deal online but if the worst happens and you need a warranty claim it's a damn site easier to take it to your local store than have to send it off. That's why I love Argos.
