Default Random Food Packaging Retroness

So i was at work the other day, running in some Cat6 in a false floor when i lifted some tiles and found where someone must have sat to eat their lunch...

Couldn't believe it when i saw these two laying there, sorrya bout the crap phone pics!

Best before end of 1987 on both of them

Not very exciting i know but just reminded me of my childhood!

we found an old knife with an ivory handle when we ripped out the kitchn units from our old house a good few eyars ago

seeing as we moved in in 1978, that knife is older than my brother

and we still use it

Reminds me when my father and I lifted the floor boards in our living room just before fitting new carpets. We found an ice-lolly wrapper from 1978

I have an old glass Lucozade bottle from 1995 in my loft, not that old I know but the bottles have fairly changed. Theres some kind of HM endorsement or approval type logo on the label, theres even a dribble of Lucozade still in the arse that I was sooo tempted to taste when I first found it!

The bottle is near identical to this:

Sorry to hijack your thread but i've got a question that you might be able to answer.......I work as a QS on a building site and ive been asked by the M&E contractor if they can use CAT5 cabling over CAT6. The M&E guy has offered to give me a 22k saving if we use CAT5 over CAT6, he put on his salesman cap and gave me all this bull about there not being hardly any difference between the two although he can give me 22k back!! something doesnt seem to add up?? whats the difference and what would you reccommend??

Haha, remember that - As school we used to walk round the playground with loads of them on our fingers, then 'fired' them off at random people.

I remember being excited when I saw the first new style ring pull (on a can of St Christopher alcohol free beer IIRC). Little did i know it would be the beginning of the end for the 'proper' ring pull!!!
