a mate was on a fireblade on a round about
55 year old women on the phone pulled out on him
both legs fooked she admitted i was talking at the time
but that wont save him from the bone grafts & alike
1 ankle turned 180 the wrong way ..plus rest of
his life fooked pins every where in both legs.

thing is.. if theyre going to ban fones surely eating a sandwich, mc donalds, drinking, fiddling with ur stereo etc... are just as dangerous??

I agree with Katie on this one. I too ride and it scares the sh!t out of me the amount of people i see eating, using phones and............... smoking, yes smoking now forgive me but if you drop a mobile phone in your lap... hey what the heck, but drop a fag and you will sooner or later know about it

I am fully behind the ban phones though

 

i drive a 55tonne straddle carrier that can do 20 mph
with a 30 ton container underneath so im doing average 12
mph..so ++ 85 ton can use works radio all night long
ie talking to controller where to goto next ..every 8 mins
no problems yet if caught on camera in work on mobile
via cctv fooking loads of them ITS instant dismissal .
no second chance whats the diff

 

handsfree kits are allowed, its holding a mobile, or having an ear piece, bluetooth etc is fine, tho u cant fiddle with ur fone etc....

i see lorry driving massive lorries stearing round a roundabout with one hand whilst they chat on teh fone....

thats shocking!
