Now I have a good internet connection I've started to sort out all my videos and music.

One thing I have noticed with my itunes is that music keeps dissapearing, some albums show as not in their original location which is fair enough as I may of moved the folder but the weird thing is the odd single track missing off various albums

As an example, the Kasabian album I have on there was off a cd, its been fine for years but now the track LSF shows as not there, if I go to the album in my music then the track has dissapeared ??? That is one of many and tbh Its gone as the search function won't find it anywhere.

Anyone got any ideas why it does that ?

 

Mine,s the same mate, got a i-touch about 3 months back and it just a pain in the arse. I-tunes is daft and players fucked now.

 

Which is EXACTLY why I don't use iTunes. I'm forced to use it for my iPhone, but I don't put music on that anyway; my iPod I sync with Windows Media Player and I also use WMP as my music player and library. I HATE iTunes with a passion and will be gutted when I finally do move to a Mac as I won't be able to use WMP anymore

 

I binned I-tunes.... Its total shite....

Bumping this to the top as my internet connection must of been playing up still and I never did see the replies, atleast I know its not just me.

So anyway music dissapears, has it been moved ? if so where to ? or have I lost it for good ?

Bit annoying really as obviously some of the stuff were cd's I've borrowed and I don't have them to put the tracks back on.

I'm going to guess the advice will be to not use Itunes and start using Media Player.

There must still be a reason for it though ?? why delete one track ?

 

My i-tunes deleted around 1900 tracks. slung the touch in the draw and left it.

 

Why though ? surely Apple having one of the largest selling mp3 units would get it right ? or there would a cure somewhere ?

All the tapes Ive spent months convertings, what really pissed me off. Cd's with half the tracks missing wtf. Gone back to useing my w980i.lol

 

i had a similer thing,,, discoverd it was the missus deleting the songs she HATES of mine when i was at the gym so she dont have to listen to them in the car !!!!!
