any1 here had any dealings with the 1.9cvh american tall block?? ive heard with a set of 45s and the right cam and set up i could be lookin for 160-180bhp. dont see the engines v often but i like the sound of it. should be v torquey too..

they are very torquey mate ran a tall block on a t34 efi management she was at around 270 bhp bullet proof mate cained the arse off it dailey it ate 8 gearboxes in 12 months so yeah torquey lol just be sure to get it set up propperlly by a reputable tuner then your laughing to many people spend thousands then have them tuned poorly resulting in KAAAABOOM and "them 1900,s are shite" i got mine from specialized some people have had bad experiences but i never did but yeah deffo bottom end and midrange power engines mine started running outta breath at 120 but thats down to other things mine never had a problem enginewise ran until i broke the car and sold it

Used to have an XR3i with the Power Engineering conversion for 1.9, thats was on 40's, cam, etc, went like shit off a shovel! wish I hadn't crashed that car.
