Default opinions/pics of dark bonnet vents on..

...a moonstone car....i'm also removing the fogs and "blacking" them out....just wonder will the vents look a bit "halfords"........cheers

i have removed my fog lights , replaced the grills in black, and blacked the inside part of the bumper, then i run ducting up into the engine bay...

i think they look much better without fogs..



not sure about the bonet vent though.. i sometimes run with my os one removed

jtech.........yeh thats what i've done,also chopped out some of the front bumper and moved the towing eye.....

i hope when you cut the bumper section out you made some nice ends like this




and didnt just cut it off flat like some do!


where did you put your tow eye? i drilled mine off the crossmember and remade that section, and now my tow eye screws in behind the bumper, so you cant see it

I think I got pics of my old one with black vents in. IMO it was nasty. Ill have a look for ya.

jtech.............dont actually really know what it looks like yet............i just said to jacko......"chop that fucker owt" and he did.....he's smoothed it all off etc, but i havn't seen it finished

Carbon vents would look good, but just dark ones would look rubbish.

If you do the foglight surrounds and the vents the same colour as the wheels it may not look so bad, at least it will all tie in together then. I may have some spare vents if you want to get them painted grey then you can try both sets in it to see what you think and just give me back the ones you dont use.
