They randomly flash once. They flash twice when triggered for real.

Maybe It was falsely triggered by someone coming the other way, unless it's the one on the right in the one way just before the school and railway station.

Sure its twice as it needs to take 2 pictures to enable them to measure your speed.

I noticed one in Leicester only flash once the other day.

Just outside the prison, set off by pressure strips

The sneaky fookers have put white lines further down the road, after the camera

The van that went through it was speeding, but I'm sure it only flashed once!

It's forward facing too, surely they shouldn't flash if forward facing?

Any ideas about this one?

I was thinking Truvelo camera, but I thought these wern't supposed to flash in your face?

The one just inside the 30 limit (from 40) near the old pub?

If it only flashed once, that'll have been triggered by someone going off quick the other way into the 40 towards the A.5.

had it before, the camera flashed once and recieved nothing.

IIRC then it takes to shots, the lines represent 5mph and so you speed can be worked out from that hence two images?

They take two pictures incase one is blurred.. the white markers in the road are a BACKUP method of measuring the speed incase it gets disputed.
