looks wise i like that, but it would be too heavy in steel, and i want it steel really so its bomb proof,
to do that id have to make it in fibre glass, and im not to keen on that for my track slag

Same engine mate, near as damn... When they scrapped the RS1700T they had a job lot of engines, so it made sence to use them when they Built the RS200..

Jase yeah mate originally they where from the Mk2 XR2 wide arch kit... but they look very similar to the Mk2 escort Forest arches which you can still get in metal.

what i was going to do was cut along the swage line, and pull it out 2 inches, so the bottom of the panels stay in there original position,

then fabricate and roll a section to fill the 2 inch gap,

then metal finish them, and job done.

ive done quite a few on various cars like this and it works well, but i fancy something different now tbh

well i found one crappy phone pic lol

these were front arches off the "g" spec golf i modified to fit the rear to hide the 10" rears

i made new inner arches aswell, and then painted the old girl inside and out as it was a red bare shell when i got it delivered to me lol

well as with any of the weird stuff i do, it was just ideas thrown at me by the customer.

i had it a fair while, as an infill job, and i think it was around 2k in the end, but that was a bare shell repaint, loads of mods, and rebuilding.

i only have one other pic and thats of the little bonnet vent the customer drew out on paper, and i made from steel, using the skin of the bonnet for the main body to minimize welding onto the skin.

i will see if i have any more on cd hidden away
