Snap On ones are proper awesome....I bought a cheap one off ebay with 2 batteries 2 years ago for Ł65 - its been ok despite the fact I dropped it on the floor & it cracked lol. Batteries cud do with being replaced now though!!!

i had a 14.4v snap-on gun, was brill
then got a 18v snap-on gun now, top class,
more power than any 1/2 inch air gun i've ever used
bit pricey but you get what you pay for i suppose
i use mine every day in work so it gets a hard life and seems to take the abuse no prob

Ive got the new style snap on 1/2" gun, was pissed at the price, but its awsome. And the battery life is mental, use it on and off every few days when im taking wheels of, random bolts ecs and i only charge the batterys once a month

as above you wont beat snap on just wait for them to be on special think in november the 1/2 big bad boys were on special maby ring your local man he might still have one that he bought in on special and still sell it at that price

ive got the 1/2" for wheel nuts but its too powerfull for everything else so also got the 3/8" and thats perfect for everything else

I have one of these off our toolman -

http://www.justoffbase.co.uk/Cordles...9&category=575

Use it all the time at work, not let me down yet. Battery last quite a while too (sales book says will undo&retighten a 21mm wheelnut 150 times).

A guy at work has an ingersoll rand one and another has the snap on type. Ingersoll rand one blows snap on one away easily but it wasnt cheap.

i must admit i have the new snapon 18v and it's mint over here they are cheap $780 on special i also have the new 780nm 1/2" air gun to and if thats not enough i resort to the 3/4" but that is the last straw as it just snaps stuff off at the pull of a triger. so i check before i pull the triger it's going the right way 1000nm is not very forgiving

I had a sealey 19v one but found with some of the off roaders were we doing, it really struggled with the bigger stuff and had to get the air gun out, so i bought myself the new snap on 18v half inch gun, amazing, not found anything it won't undo yet, or even struggle with, so impressed with it, i bought myself the 12v 3/8 gun for the smaller stuff, then, cos i'm sad and had space in my toolbox drawer, i bought the 1/4 inch nut runner / bit gun too, great bits of kit!
