I had mine on the side of the bath with speaker playing, emptied bath and sprayed the shower head over the back where my iphone was playing.
Got soaked pulled it out dried down with towel and used hairdryer to dry within five mins speaker was back to normal.

first day of my hols this year a jumped in the pool..
as I sailed through the air I realised my mobile was in my pocket!!!!!! I just about walked on water trying to get out quick lol
spent a week drying it out, the phone worked ok after a while and about 3 weeks later the camera started working again!
get a new one at the end of this month so sorted now.

Water is fine as long as its allowed to dry, the best thing is to turn it straight off though!
You can technically put ANY electrical item in water and it will work again, ASLONG as its 100% dry before its turned on.
The biggest killer of electronics is fizzy drinks because even once it has all dried out, the sugar left behind can cause short circuits on the boards and connections

Taryn on here (ZTee24) dropped her Pearl in the sink while I was over in New York with them. It was in there for a couple seconds before she pulled it out but already the screen was off. We took it apart dried it out and left it all night but it still wasn't working the next day. Think she just got a replacement from work, so no idea if it lived or not, but it certainly wasn't playing ball that evening for sure....
