First cossie please, as it doesnt look like it has a gay show cage.

And yeah that engine is more like 432.399934884bhp, judging by the pic

a picture cant easily tell you its 430bhp yeah sure you might be able to see turbo, breather etc and some shiney bits but theres a lot more to it than that if its running 430bhp

Is that a replacement for his EsCos then mate?? To be honest, I'm a fan of 3drs so I wouldn't be too fussy which one I had..... but I know how much work has gone into yours, so probably go for that one.

You'd be better listing the engine spec to see what it could be capable of... bit harder to tell with pic I think.

imo that picture isnt close enough to give away any of its credentials, like injectors or turbo size - so its purely going to generate random guesses on that one.

from both of those pictures id say i preffer the first one, just seems to look better overal.

You are still going to make good power without verniers, just you might get a bit more with if the cams need dialling in slightly, I can't see the injector colour but if on greys certainly could be looking at 430.
Yours sounds a pretty good spec too, depends where you were racing, as a better torque spread counts for a lot.

Thats who I used with my Series 2 mate.. after going to 'specialist' in Glenrothes who didn't know what they were doing and leaving me to pay for the lack of knowledge.

If I manage to get find a decent enough S1/S2 RS Turbo or Saph and sort out a deal with my Integra, the RS will be going straight up to AVA for a check over and set-up.

Its only an hour or so from us, defo worth the trip through.

Craig if you havnt speced your engine for bd16 when you built it,it will be a no go,and will cause serious valve damage, and really a bd14 exaust cam isnt required

the prev owner did have vernier pulleys on it at first it was set up on them but it lost torque which is wot he was aiiming for rather than bhp. before he changed the cams it was producing 405 ft lb and only 380bhp so he fitted the bd 14 and bd 10 with the 4x4 inlet manifold an verniers and it went to 399bhp an 350ftlb so he took the pulleys off and now its producing wot its sitting at the now.....
