Default Ipod Nano 4th Generation can anyone help?

Just bought the new iPod nano 4th generation and wanna get an FM modulator/ transmitter so i can listen to it through my car radio.

Can anyone recommend one to me?

I want it to be as small as possible and wire free ie plugs straight into the iPod.

What you all got?

Thanks in Advance

Mark

i've never used one but it's basically a transmitter that you tune your radio into. It's obviously very weak and so i think is subject to interference from more power signals bouncing about etc. Best bet is a radio with an aux input and use a wire input

Does you radio def not have one?

Heated front windscreen perhaps?

From my experience of the FM transmitters they are good when they work, which is good weather, clear space etc.

It is really really annoying though when you go slightly behind a hill and for some reason it decides to go snap crackle and pop on you halfway through your favourite song!

I tried one, gave up in the end and bought a new stereo with ipod control, quality with transmitter was poor and when travelling had to re tune it if the frequency got to much interference, then re tune the radio to match it. I would not recommend one at all.

Don't want to rain on your parade BUT.

My understanding is that Nano4 does not work with 90%+ of iPod adapters, docks etc. I'm no expert, but it seems that Apple changed the way the connector on the bottom works from firewire / usb. Previous Nano's had both as an option. But 4th Gen only has usb. (so the unit can be smaller) which seems that its not compatible with aftermarket equipment.

I've had that problem with my mains charger not being able to charge up my sister's new Nano. Yet, my dad's older Nano and my Video charge fine.
